This Is It!

It was just months ago that I decided to just put everything behind and to pick up something that is totally irrelevant to my current field. It was very impulsive that I literally gone crazy about it and took every chance to look up for related information.

Studying in Korea is relatively cheap but living in Korea is expensive (at least for a Malaysian)! According to some bloggers I seek advice from, 950,000won a month is barely sufficient (RM3.15 = 1,000won). So do get prepared with some additional $$ if you want to try something like this

Yonsei University was my first choice. The building is amazingly beautiful. Being the oldest university in South Korea and its strategic location, it does attract a lot of students trying their best to get enrolled. But at the same time, its fees are also higher than the other universities.

My second choice is Seoul National University (SNU). It is also one of the top three universities in South Korea (Seoul National Univeristy, Yonsei University and Korea University) which produced famous graduates like Ban Ki Moon, the secretary of UN. Not so many foreigners go to SNU as it is further away from all the happening places in Seoul. So in return, it offers program with lower fees as well as lower living expenses. Twin sharing dormitory only cost about 500,000won for 10 weeks! While off campus accommodation cost up to 500,000won a month.

As compared to Yonsei university, it seems to have less green. But it is alright since now $$ is the biggest concern and reviews had mentioned that SNU offers equally good korean language program emphasizing on both writing and speaking skill, not to forget good teachers too.

So, I had just received my admission letter to SNU Korean Language Regular Program (Spring intake). The feeling of finally doing something out of the box is indescribable. Trust me, it has never been easy letting go quite a well paid and stable job and emptying your three years savings into something you can't totally be sure of. Well, I guess that is the excitement of living the life you want, challenging your own limit.

Till then, I will be busy preparing letters and all the necessities.
2014 will be a great year for me, I am confident about it.
See ya, Seoul in 2 months time. Please treat me well.

end of PRP service

ending service as a houseman and stepping into compulsory service is never easy.
it means, more responsibilities, more stressful and more mentally exhausted.
you will no longer be the follower of the team but the leader that need to make decision.
and for a not so smart people like me, it's hard.

following rounds by yourselves can be scary at times,
especially when it comes to antibiotic,
and when you have some scary specialists.

yes, i'm covering two wards now,
a geriatric ward and a chemo ward.

one is usually very caution with the dose while one always use the high end antibiotics.
thus, don't try to test my knowledge on normal dosing,
i had partially kept them aside because my RAM is too small.

alright, enough of ranting.
i'll share some pictures with you guys.

went to Kuala Terengganu in October
because Pinky had won a 3 days 2 nights stay in Ri-Yaz Heritage Resort.

grabbed this picture online.
trust me, it really looks like that in real.

it is a nice place to 100% chill and relax.

beautiful sky and nice weather.
total relaxation and am perfectly roasted.

so reluctant to leave such a nice place!

it's mid of November already.
life is getting less and less interesting.
any suggestion on what to do?
am getting very poor too.
haih.

have a nice day friends.
xoxo!

AUGUST 2011

it was a year ago,
when all of us joined the working life,
one by one,
as Pharmacists in GHM.

we went through highs and downs together.
we smile through the smelliest shit,
having second, third, forth rounds of dinner and hang outs,
and still reluctant to go back home.

damage our livers on the so call Friday night.

remember the BBQ session at my brother's place?
remember the amount of salad they made? hee..

our never ending chit chat sessions,
lame jokes, loud acts, all the makan adventures.

not to forget the cameron trip.
the night where we all stood at the Hotel's lobby,
no place to sleep.

eating strawberry popsicles like little kids.

......................................................

goodbye seems to be the hardest word to say.
this is gonna be an emotional month.

i just wanna say:

take care friends.
you all are more than just colleagues to me.
i heart you guys.
will definitely miss you.

hugs.

1st day of sem 8

1st day of school is already killing me.

oh ya, i got the 签王 (king of the lots??).
i hope she won't be too harsh on me. i hope i can still leave the room in one piece during viva.
not good.
research presentation on 13th jan & viva on 20th jan. not good.
He said we're getting lazier during the holiday. true. horrible.
left my lovely blanket at home. no blanket for a whole week. terrible.
i still have 2.25 of Twilight left. wondering where to slot in the time to finish them.
losing confident approaching the end of Bpharm. sucks.
*shaking head*

1st day of class,
and i was jeopardized with tonnes of complications.
hold on.
i will sail through smoothly.
i guess.

whispering...
*please, i only need to maintain my cGPA, don't be too harsh on me, only a B+ will do*

who is there to overdose me with happiness??
