berry-hearty meal~

although valentine was already months ago but i only have time to write about it now.

this is the first valentine we celebrated together, nothing really special. it was just a simple dinner.

we actually planned to grab our dinner at 1U, but he took the wrong way, and ended up in Bangsar. and Victoria Station came in sight. nah, i never try VS before and he said the food there was not bad ( the one in penang). i trusted him and we went there for dinner.

first thing first, they actually cleared out upstairs and made it only for couple set dinner.
the presentation was not bad i would say, but the staffs there were really busy thus making the whole system very unorganized. we sat there for 20mins and yet no menu was served. thus, we went downstairs for the normal ala-carte meal.

we ordered:
baked fresh scallop 1/2 doz = RM 19.90
cream of Mushroom..mushroom soup = RM6.90
salmon & chicken combo = RM33.90
fillet steak & chicken combo = RM33.90
Patritti white - grape juice = RM49.90

you all must be wondering why is the grape juice cost us RM49.90..
here's the story~

after we ordered, the manager happily recommended us the beverage for our meal is GRAPE JUICE, no alcohol, no sugar. we thought, wow, not bad huh..

and we're @.@ when we saw him coming to our table opening a bottle of SPARKLING JUICE...

but i would say, the sparkling juice taste great compare to the meals there.
we waited for our dishes for 45min. during that period, we saw plates of meals were putting on the table outside the kitchen, waiting for the waitress to send them to the customers. i personally don't feel nice about that..not good, not good..

here come the scallop. i know cheesy is good, but too cheesy is NOT GOOD.
the chef must have put too much of parmesan cheese on the scallops and it tasted SALTY..i mean very salty..!!

then, our main course, combo of chicken & salmon and fillet steak & chicken.
i felt really lucky to have fillet steak. not only they served breast meat, it tasted horrible!! the chicken tasted so DRY and tasteless...really disappointed!

where's our soup？honestly i expect the meals here to be real good.
they served us our soup after our main course..=.="
but alright, our soup taste worst than campbell can soup..even the cafe outside my house has better taste mushroom soup than they have..

we left without any dessert..

BUT, days after that, we went to mid valley and had our dinner at the LITTLE TAIWAN.
even though it's already after valentine, they were very sweet to served us heart shape strawberry jelly..sweet! =^.^=

sigh, really should not spend time going for valentine dinner at those places...bad bad bad..
