it was laura's birthday and as usual we went out for the celebration a.k.a makan-makan..
we chose Dragon-i Restaurant in mid valley. went there twice already but we just love some of the food there..=)
titbit RM4.00
this is the braised groundnuts, it tasted sweet but i personally think that it can be softer and more moist. well, a nice titbit for us.
salmon yee sang RM38
since it was still during CNY and i think we never have a proper lou-sang session together before, we decided to order one to soothe our itch..huhu..
we asked for the extra snacks (RM2.00) as there were 6 of us and the snacks is definitely not enough..we're all snacks lover..!
the salmon was great too *just because i love raw salmon mah..huhu*
saute four-season bean (干煸四季豆) RM18.00
huhu, this dish is always my favourite!! and laura loves it too..huhu..
it just opened up our appetite to fill our mouth with more rice..nice nice and nice!!!!
eggplant, mushroom sliced fish (酱烧鲍菇茄子鱼片) RM22.00
the portion of this is kinda small. i remember each of us only had one or two slices of fish..
the taste was normal braised taste. nothing special i would say. but not bad for some mushroom lover because they put plenty of abalone mushroom and eggplant.
sichuan spicy chicken (四川辣子鸡丁) RM20.00
we were kinda disappointed when this was served.
the portion was so small compared to our last visit. but i do think this is a must try when u visit dragon-i!
deep fried wantan (锦卤炸云吞) RM9.00
deep fried wantan with sweet and sour dip sauce, a good combination. they even have shrimps in the dip sauce =)
as usual, after loitering around for a little while, we headed back home..
nice outing after all..*wink*
