lomography

*taken in Kuala Lumpur, amazing huh!*

hey, have you ever heard of LOMOgraphy?

if not, google it =)

according to Wikipedia *the most unreliable source in this world X.X*, Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, "happy accidents," and alternative film processing are often considered part of the "Lomographic Technique." Users are encouraged to take a lighthearted approach to their photography, and use these techniques to document everyday life, as the Lomo LC-A's small size, simple controls, and ability to shoot in low light encourages candid photography, photo reportage, and photo vérité through the much-touted "10 Rules.

*Dorothy Tang with her Diana+ lomo cam*

lately, i'm interested in photography *it's my new hobby =D*,
and had heard of this lomography for some time already.
i always love the effect. the accentuated color of the photo
without you needing to photoshop the photo for the cool effect.

not many people playing lomo,
because it's kinda expensive to have it.
as in, unlike digicam,
you can always snap, playback, delete, and most important,
you can just store them in your computer,
without developing them out..

while for lomo cam,
you cant playback,
you cant simply snap and snap and snap,
*wasting film mah..and money also loh..*

the pictures you took will remain mysterious,
until the minute you got them from the photo-developing center.
quite cool huh?

*look at the color!! it's making me going high!!*

today, i came across this website accidentally,
selling very very cute lomo cam.
kawaii-store

here are some of the pics taken from the blog:

i was tempted, and wanted to get myself one.
but *STOP!!!*
the rational angel was yelling out loud..

yeah , yeah..
i think i should read more feedback first before buying.
impulsive purchase always turn out bad!
*hurmp!*

what do you think?
