just married

bro's getting married on 26 dec 2009,
sis in law requested to have a "JUST MARRIED" sign,
putting at the back of their car..

i drafted out the design on a piece of paper,
and yeulou helped me to draw it on the polystyrene.

big thanks to him!!




at first, yeulou drew it using pencil,
and i find it quite difficult to see,
thus i outlined the whole drawing first..

after capping my marker,
i realized my own stupidity!!
MARIED!

i was like @.@!!

sigh..it's supposed to be MARRIED..not MARIED..
one R is missing..
T.T

but i couldn't care much about the R..
coz after all, i'll be covering it up with red paint..huhu..

i took several days to find the right paint.
because this is to be put at outdoor,
i'm worried about the wet weather.

i know i have to use Pelaka paint,
but all colors were in 500g size,
thus, i only managed to get 1 500g of white,
the rest - blue, red, yellow and black,
they are all fabric paint.

started painting the drawing..
after finishing black,
i started the heart with the red paint as the background and layered it with red glitter powder
for the bling bling effect..

see, the MARIED is no longer visible..
=D




ok, except for black and brown,
everything else was bling-ed.

you probably can't see it through the picture..
