ok, this post will be full of pictures coz i'm too lazy to describe anything.
it's the usual custom that the Dong Zen temple will have this lantern festival during CNY every year.
i went there the 1st time when i was in A-Level,
joined the photography club members adventure trip.
but of course, i only have those superb useless compact at that time,
we can only be the models for them..
kinda pity them when i think of it..hahaha..
went there consequently for a few years and realized actually there was not much changes every year, so i stopped going on last year.
but this year, coz it's the year of Tiger
*which is my year =D*,
i decided to ask my emo junior to go along..
we went there on the 14th day of CNY,
the place was so crowded..arg..
this time, the photos were taken using my LX3 as well as pip's nikon D3000
mayb i wasn't familiar with the nikon setting,
i really prefer to use my LX3 compare to nikon
*which is kinda waste lah, DSLR all by myself man..sigh..should learn more 1st before attempting!! x(*
so i'll let the pictures to do the talking:
the entrance of Dong Zen temple.

just love the Ferris wheel..
just realized my LX3 can take damn good picture under low light condition.
for you info, all night time pictures were taken without tripod,
camera was hand held
and i'm famous for shaking hands
yet the pics turned out quite good.
huhu..loving my LX3!
for those who had missed this year's lantern festival,
remember to come on next year
especially for those who love shooting..
last but not least,
thanks, mr junior for the ride..hahaha...
